SAVE Dade's mission is to promote, protect and defend equality for people in Miami-Dade County who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.

We fully embrace the privileges, as well as the responsibilities that come with being part of the great American mosaic. We are no more and no less American because of our sexual orientation or gender identity.

We are families, business leaders, and philanthropists. We serve the entire community as doctors, police officers, and teachers. We work in all neighborhoods as servers, shopkeepers, and homeowners. We are mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, as well as parents, children, aunts and uncles. We also love and care for other people's children. We get sick and we help others get better. We celebrate and we grieve. We do hair and we lose hair. We are tourists and serve tourists. We love sports and we hate sports. We pay taxes and serve with courage in the military.

We love and we are loved.
